Unlike the TAAS test, a standardized test all Texans were required to take in the 90โ€™s, this challenge is alot more fun.

TAAS requires archers to participate in three competitions in Texas. This challenge tests an archers skill in 3D, indoor, ground archery, and horseback archery.

Austin Archery Club - Monthly 3D shoot

Test your skills on a 30-target course while hiking in the Texas Hill Country. The season starts in January and runs until August.

  • Compete in 4 monthly 3D shoots

Texas Ringer

๐Ÿ—“ September 2025

The only indoor competition in Texas that allows thumb rings. Test your skills at this 3-day indoor style tournament. Qualifications begin on Friday and Saturday, and the top 15 archers in the Trad division advance to Sundayโ€™s shoot off.
