Unlike the TAAS test, a standardized test all Texans were required to take in the 90’s, this challenge is alot more fun.
TAAS requires archers to participate in three competitions in Texas. This challenge tests an archers skill in 3D, indoor, ground archery, and horseback archery.

Austin Archery Club - Monthly 3D shoot
📍 Austin, TX🗓 January - August 2025Test your skills on a 30-target course while hiking in the Texas Hill Country. The season starts in January and runs until August.
Requirements
Compete in 4 monthly 3D shoots
Texas Ringer
📍Spring, TX🗓 September 2025The only indoor competition in Texas that allows thumb rings. Test your skills at this 3-day indoor style tournament. Qualifications begin on Friday and Saturday, and the top 15 archers in the Trad division advance to Sunday’s shoot off.
TyTin Open
📍New Braunfels, TX🗓 December 2025Test your skills in both ground archery and horseback archery at this 2-day event.
