Texas Asiatic Archery is an archery club located in Austin, TX. We are a diverse and inclusive community practicing with Asiatic bows.
As a competitive team, we shoot in both traditional and non-traditional competitions including horseback, indoor, 3D, distance, and flight.
Our mission is to provide education and resources about Asiatic archery in Texas focused on community and practice.

Meet Kristie and Dieter
Kristie Bocanegra and Dieter Galvan, founders of Texas Asiatic Archery, began their archery journey in 2021 and specialize in Mamluk techniques.
Both have shot competitively in Texas and internationally at Horse archery tournaments, 3D tournaments, indoor tournaments, and renaissance faires using asiatic bows.
As an organization, both believe in sharing the knowledge gained throughout their journey and how to be successful at tournament's and in practice.
